Default 2008 Engine specs question...

It has been posted the 08 will have 425/435 HP.....But, any mention of the Torque #s??????Any increases in them....

We don't have any official information yet. April 28th is he official birhday bash for the 2008 vette when all the information is officially released.

Right now 425/435Hp Z51 is the most likely of information we've gotten for the Ls3(Rick@Les Stanford). No information/rumors have been released on torque numbers.

My guess is 415lbs torque.

No less than 425Hp and potentially 450Hp. No one will want to buy an 08' model if the Hp is the same or only 3hp more.. Thats just bad from a marketing standpoint to have a brand new "larger engine" dubbed "Ls3" and having the same Hp. Too many big dogs in the business have been saying 425/435Hp. I seriously doubt all of them are getting false information seeing as there contacts are usually higher up in the chain. Just like Rick@Les Stanford quoted us those Hp numbers. He's someone most everyone on this forum trusts along with Rick Contti.
