Your very first post here (even though you've been a member for seven months) and you're asking if a color looks good? That's kind of like asking, "Does food taste good?" To some, yellow Corvettes look great; to others, it doesn't. You're the only one who knows how they look to you.

Well that depends on what you think is "too much". Color is very subjective. However if you don't mind stopping traffic and turning heads everywhere you go....VY is the best. That being said, I havn't seen a C6 in any color I didn't like.
Yellow is my favorite color. Black is the color of my vette.
Like those other guys said what ever you like is all that counts. Most yellow vettes I see are driven by women and Black is much faster.

By women? Thanks! I see your avitar is Jeff Gordon. Doesn't he drive a rainbow colored car? Does this make him gay? I think not. Just mess'n with ya.
Two Years ago I was at a track day event. Another corvette guy came up to me to ask the same question, "Why do you DRIVE A YELLOW VETTE? "
He drove a silver C5.
Just as I was about to answer two Porsche Grand Am Cup racers came and butted in saying, " Damn, that YELLOW vette of your is intimidating in our mirrors. Then you have the audacity to upshift just as your rear passes our drivers side windows. Frick'n V8 noise and power is unblievalbe."
I said to the Porsche racers, "Thank you very much."
I turned to the silver C5 driver and said, " Now what was that question?"

Sounds like the Elliott Sadler/Jimmy Johnson commercial...
