Default WBS not DBS this Time

Have had 3 DBS episodes on my 05 MN6. The battery must have weakened significantly (WBS – Weak Battery Syndrome). Went out the other day 30 deg F, just clicks and no start. Temp up to 50 the next day and no problem starting. Looks like I need a need battery.

Any recommendations? Optima? Interstate? Delco?

I'd assume they replaced the battery when you had the flash done?

Optima.
Either red or yellow top, hands-down.
Can't go wrong with the Optima.

Plus if I had an '05 MN6 car?
A battery tender hooked-up whenever parked for extended periods of time, regardless the make of battery.

IMO there's no need for a battery tender as standard equipment with a 2005 MN6....the so-called DBS affects only a small minority of 2005 MN6 vehicles. Granted, if you suffer from DBS and/or park your car for extended periods the battery tender might be a good idea. Fortunately, I've never had any starting issues with my 2005 MN6 for over 2 years and still on the OEM battery.

I recall reading a post that leads me to believe GM is finally figuring-out what is causing the problem. Hopefully a true fix is in-the-works.

Of course, mybad for not being more specific & qualifying my statement.
My response was prompted by this poster sounding as though he DID have an actual case of, "DBS".
Neglected considering not all, like you, have had this happen with their '05s.

Great to hear Wayne, but listen.
I'm still smarting from the lousy Delco my '03 AE had.
Now as in [that] case I just took the initivive to replace the stock battery with an Optima (Redtop), before there ever was a chance of my being stranded.

IIRC I believe reading something similar, myself.
Let us hope because those who purchased an '05 in good faith only to expereince this abomination, deserve better.
