Had em put on today and oh my god they're loud! I may have to get the X-pipe with resonators to take the edge off.
Anyone with Bullets put Dynomat in the hatch area to see if that kills any of the drone?
I am finding that they don't really drone between the dreaded 1500 - 1900 RPM range. They drone like crazy when you're getting on it and passing through 2100 RPM (I have a stick)
They are mean as hell and you get all kinds of stares at stoplights!!
Something to see about 'killing the drone'....that sounds wonderful.
I don't mind a car to be on the loud side but it must sound good (at least IMO). If you're happy with them that's all that counts but you lost me on the drone part.

They do sound awesome. By drone..as I tried to describe it....I meant that when accelerating the Bullets produce a stronge resonance in the rear of the car. I don't really notice it during the common cruising RPM range that has been mentioned on the forum. I am curious as to whether or not some Dynomat will kill off some of that resonance.
When you're cruising along about 30 MPH and nail it, they absolutely scream......almost gives you a shiver!!
I have kooks 1 7/8 with high flow cats and corsa sport setup and it is loud.
But no drone
Capevettes had the bulletts with the stock headder setup and after a few weeks had to take them off
I put dynamat in the rear only to reduce drone at 1500-1700 of my GHL with melrose headers on my 2006 c6 coupe. I'm guessing it "absorbed" the noise 15-20%, maybe 25%. makes it bearable for me. thinking of putting the dynapad on for $90 too.
I laid Dynapad on top of the rear carpet, then put a cargo mat on top of that. I would say it cut the noise and drone by 20%.....worth it to me. I suggest you use the Dynapad...much heavier and thicker then dynamat.
they will absolutely make you crazy before they're done. I swore I would stay stock on the C6 and that lasted about a month. I chose Magnaflow this time and they're perfect for my taste.
I used to think my bullets were loud. Then I got American Racing headers put on. Now I don't call them bullets, i call them machine guns. It's awesome.
I have Bullets too, with the APS TT on there, it backfires now & shoots out flames on a downshift
I don't mind the noise, i love the sound, gonna add the B&B X Pipe on there to get rid of all that back pressure, but for now, the flames are pretty cool when I have a soccer mom behind me in a MiniVan Keeps everyone from tailgating
