Problem with Flowmasters
Anyway, as I said I love the sound particulary at idle and going through the gears. It is just a little louder at crusing speed than stock, but not much. I did notice the dreaded "drone" at about 1500 rpms and with just the right amount of throttle. But, to me (subjective I know), it is not a problem. I want my vette to sound like it has a little muscle. Also love the "burble" when decelerating.
As to the title of my post--about twenty minutes after picking up my car, on a deserted country road I decided to run through the gears with an aggressive right foot.
I did not see the state trooper!
Bottom line--my new exhaust is going to cost me about twice the purchase price (40 mph over the limit) by the time I get through with court costs.Be careful out there.

Never thought about the additional LEO attention the aftermarket exhaust was draw. Perhaps I'll stick to my stock pipies afterall.

How did they sound at 40 over?
Sorry about your citation. I think if you explain to the Judge what you were doing, he or she will certainly understand.
Good luck!

Oh yeah, I love the sound of my Flowmasters!
I can tell you that my CORSA's have caused more than a few LEO's to turn their heads and cast their gaze in my general direction. Ah, well...
Happy Vette-ing, All!

Me thinks you will be lucky to get away with only twice the cost, I got a 16mph over ticket a month ago, 81 in a 65. $510 in the great nation of Kalifornia.
