Default TPMS...Need help or advice

Hey folks,
Just put some wheels on my car, and from what I see the tires are low. For some reason the TPMS light says that my tires are low on one side and high on the other. I am assuming that the installer put the sensors back in the wrong sides. My questions is this normal? And if so can they be reset? Thanks in advance

"From what you say they look low" not being rude but have you checked with a guage ? It is possible the tire guy got them mixed up. Yes they can be reset with a scan tool, maybe your tire guy has one and should do it for no charge if he mixed em up. Dealer may have a scan tool also.

The car has to be driven a certain # of miles to see any new pressure changes shown on the DIC. You might want to lower one tire and drive a few miles, and repeat to see if sensors are in correct corners. Lots more info here if you try a search.

Sounds like their not properly inflated. No sure exactly what you mean because you didn't give the TP's. I don't believe it would matter what tire position they were in as they should read correctly even off the car.... Pretty hard to put the tires back in the wrong postions unless the tire place had some real dummies there. There are the front and rears (different sizes) and then arrows on the tires showing proper rotation direction. Make sure the arrows are going in the proper direction. Then balance out the TP using a good gauge. Don't rely totally on the TPS sensors for proper air pressure because some aren't that accurate. I should *** this would be the tire setup for std or F55 options not sure if the Z51 is setup the same way..........
