If I wasn't a woman, I might consider
your comments, but some regarding
DIC, where un-called for. There is a
GTO forum for those folks. I take the
info I get here serious, and only try to
impart serious or pertinent info for
folks that could use it.
My apologies - it appears to be taking a turn for the worse. Someone isn't finding these posts as funny as everyone else. I was not enticing a blood bath.
so, please show me the error of my ways and point out the smart assed remark. Your post indicates that either way you do the test , the DIC needs replacing. or am I reading what you posted incorrectly??
IF DOES IT WITH THE SEATBELT UNFASTENED,
BUT DOES NOT DO IT WITH THE SEAT BELT
FASTENED YOU HAVE THE PROBLEM. THE
FASTENED POSTION CONFIRMS THE SHORT.

Test: enter car and start WITHOUT
fastening seat belt, if you hear a "pop" in your
speakers your DIC needs to be replaced. If you fasten your seat belt and then start car
and do not hear the pop you still need to have
the DIC replaced.

The Forum should be a place where we treat one another with civility so that it remains a fun and friendly place to hang around with other Corvette enthusiasts. Hostility to others is rude and inappropriate.
Personal attacks cannot be tolerated. Attack ideas, not fellow Forum members.
