Did I read that you don't have to drill any holes?
That sounds too good to be true, that is why I was thinking clear protection but if I don't have to drill, I'll be ordering the splash guards myself.
Do you have to take the tires off for installation?
You do not have to drill any holes or remove the tires. Tip for the fronts is whichever side you are working on, turn the wheel towards you. Makes it easier.
They do work, and they do "blend" in with the tires. The install IS easy ... if you get all of the parts it will make sense. * The front splitter and the rear valance are the same color and very nearly the same texture so they look almost factory. The rounded ones look nice, but appear "chunkier at the top. ??!!
Do I need mud flaps for Grand Sport? Your site states they don't fit Z06..
I suspect this thread will be locked, because of age and because Pipe is no longer a vendor here.
Wouldn't the Z06 splash guards (don't call them mud flaps!) be right for a GS? Does your car already have them?
We had Pipe's splash guards on our 2006 Coupe, they worked ok but did look somewhat "home made". We don't use amythng on the 2009 Coupe and it seems to be doing ok, any minor chips get covered by dust in the first 5 miles anyway.

I see. Actually GS has the same flaps as the Z06 I think, but I was looking for some extra protection anyway since I'll put race tires on in summer time for HPDE events and they're known to throw rocks around! I ordered the cleartastic clear films last night.
