I had a tough time initially putting them on, but then I slid the clip onto the car first, and then slid the guard under the clip... it was on in a flash!

Maybe but Jessica Alba still looks sexy in Army boots...aka: LPG's (leather personnel carriers).

Thanks Pipedreams.
Just order mine today. You certainly know what C6 owners need. First I got your alternator cover, then the battery cover, now the splash guard.
Not to mention, your customer service is excellent. I had a minor issue with the battery cover and you exceeded my expections to resolve.
What do you have planned next??
Keep em coming!

How hard is it to remove the front clips?
I have a set of these from Nakidparts. How hard is it to remove the front clips and what do you use to remove them. Do they go back in easliy? Thanks.

Forum vendor and advertiser MidAmerica is the originator of the front pin and rear clip attachment style mud guard.
Very good quality item.
Mine are DIYs which, like all the others, used their idea:

These are so easy to install, my wife installed them in about 10 Minutes.
Even though she was nervous about the rear clips, they went on pretty easy and look great.

The only trimming is done inside the splash gaurd. There is reinforcement "webbing" that needs to be removed with an X Acto knife but the outside shape does not need to be altered. I installed GM Z06 Splash Gaurds this morning and they look (IMHO) great! Just cut out the webbing (took me about 10 minutes), apply 3M #4952 VHB (Very Hard to Bond) tape, attach gaurds using the two 7mm screws that currently reside under the air diffuser, peel off the VHB tape backing and press! BEAUTIFUL!

Agree..the rear clip scratches the paint....and loosen thru time. I lost one flap because of these clips. Not a good method for securing the rear. The front is good and tight.
One of the member is working on the Z06 style mud flap for the rear. This should be a better design.
