Jessica Alba would even look good in army boots. Just like the Corvette still looks sexy with the splash guards. (not mudflaps)
I was thinking the same thing. These aren't "Mud Flaps", and the thing about Jessica Alba too.
This was maybe the second after-market purchase I made for my car and I don't regret putting them on. Of course they blend in even better on a black Vette.

You're absolutely right about Jessica looking sexy in oversized army boots, but, if I had a choice, I'd prefer her without them, just like a Corvette without mudflaps/guards...
I guess its somewhat of a trade off, you want protection, well, you have to give up a little on the beauty, you want beauty, well, you're gonna get a few rock chips...
Either way, there is no denying that a Corvette looks great, even with the army boots...
...putting mudflaps on a sexy car like the Corvette is like putting oversized army boots on Jessica Alba...
You guys obviously don't live in a place like Colorado where they use PEBBLES to sand the roads in the wintertime, and it hangs around the entire year!
Ed's guards are worth every penny...and NOBODY notices them unless you point them out. I didn't have these on my C5, and my rockerpanels looked like they had a rash in less than 5 months.
I put Ed's mud flaps on my vette before I drove it home from the dealership. They look very nice on. To tell you the truth you can't even notice them. I know some guys are saying mud flaps are for trucks. but I did not spend $58K to have stone chips on my Vette.
www.nakidparts.com is the place to order them.
I ordered extra clips with mine just in case.

thanks, 1 1/2 years ago the very last thing I wanted to do was but spalsh guards on my car. After seeing the damage after just 1 few hundred miles I developed my guards and never looked back
Pipedreams guards are the best. I have had them on both of my C6's and they work as advertised and are not gaudy in any way. And as vendors go he's one of the best!
Gotta say I was skepticle when I saw these for the first time yesterday. I just put them on a few minutes ago and they really look nice. Two tips: make sure you bend the teeth on the rear clips in, they will go on much easier. Also, to make it a snap for the fronts, turn your wheels all the way in the direction of the side of the car you are working on. Thanks Ed for a quality product!
Agreed, Pipedream splash guards are worth every penny. Takes only a few minutes to install. Very inconspicuous. Definitely recommend bending the teeth on rear clips for easier install.
