I didn't want the last thing to go through my mind as a car was about to t-bone me to be "darn, I wish I would have spent the extra $1500 for the 2LT!"

Plus, I didn't want a black interior in Arizona.

Power lumbar, side bolsters, side airbags, and power passenger seat. I think it is definitely worth the extra $$.. I don't know if anyone can sell you on them for sure but I'm really glad I went with the 2LT.

If you like an all black interior and are not worried about a passenger being hit on the side of the car, get the 1LT.

I could never forgive myself if anything happened to my wife or one of my kids if I didn't have the airbags. I also prefer the perforated look and want the cashmere/ebony two tone seats. Gotta pony up for the 2LT just to pay an extra $695 for the two tone.

Default 2LT owners seem to like their seats - 1LT owners.. not so much

I put up a poll recently about the Sport vs. base seats. Base seat owners were unhappy about their seats 1/3 of the time. Sport seat owners generally liked their seats, with less than 1/5 of the owners reporting they didn't like theirs.

I really think the extra $$$ was well spent for my 2LT.

I bought the 2LT only for the better-than-base seats and the red interior. None of the other 2LT items were of great importance to me, although they're nice to have.

3lt only way to go IMHO. Heads up display is worth price alone, plus premium stereo, memorized seats, yada yada yada...

Only way I would do it..

In ur case I would def. go 2lt. It's not that much more dude.

2LT adds weight (so does Z51, BTW) and a preference for the fancy seats is the only good reason to get it. However, I had the base seats in my C5 and they actually fit me better than the fancy seats in my 3LT C6. I suggest that you go sit in both before making a final decision.

That's exactly what I did. My rear end and back made the decision easy.

Too much 1LT bashing going on in this thread

For me, I was plenty happy with the options offered in the 1LT package. Velocity Yellow goes best with an ebony interior anyway so I had no need for a 2 tone combo, Blose stereo gets so much bad press on these forums it seems that it isn't an upgrade over the base stereo (which is very good imo). Single guy=who cares about a passenger power seat Nav is covered since I have a portable and it let's me program it while driving if needed.

While it's nice to have the extra stuff offered in the 2LT-3LT, it wasn't worth the extra cost, I put the savings towards Z51 and comp gray rims.

Thanks for your post! I was starting to feel kind of bummed about the purchase of my 1LT/Z51.

I guess I come from the old days when a car was considered loaded when it had AC, power brakes and power steering. Power windows, keyless entry, how lazy! LOL! I'm afraid my 1LT has everything I could possibly want and more.

I don't regret getting a 1LT. I liked the feel of the seats better. The side air bags would be nice, but the odds are against needing them. Some will say it is worth it and that's OK.

My current C6 is pretty loaded, but I'd buy the 1LT next time. I'd gladly trade the heated memory seats, HUD, etc., for a few thousand in cash. Z51 and 1LT for me next time, they can keep everything else. What I really want is a package below the LT1 that deletes the keyless ignition and other electro-gizmos as well.

You must be getting confused with the base silver, those are the standard wheels. You have to pay $395 to get the comp grays, so they are not the cheapest.
