Invoice on a 3LT?!?

Invoice on a 3LT?!?
I am looking into leasing a 3lt and the guy im working with said the invoice on a 3lt would be around 48k (on a 53k msrp which is z51/chrome wheels) This doesnt seem right to me? I hear of dealers doing 7k off 3lt's and i know they arent selling them for less then invoice? i was thinking invoice on that car should be closer to 46k?

When I was shopping for my car I went in to buy a 3lt, z51, w/nav 6 spd for an approx msrp of 53,385 & invoice of 47,321. (which I got off edmunds.com) and I ended up w/3lt, F55, nav, chrome wheels, dual roof, onstar for a 58390 msrp & approx 51500 invoice...So I think he's about right!

43,700 is invoice so say 44k for 3lt car now by the time you have all the options on the car the MSRP of the car would be 58 or so i hear dealers taking 8 k off even to 10K but that is way below invoice there is more money built up in these cars than we even know. a lot of the markup is in the options but that options really dont cost GM crap for example the chrome wheels for 1850 almost 2 grand prob cost GM 500 bucks and so on ive seen fully loaded cars bring 46k that are 58K stickers so i woudnt ever think a dealer would LOOSE money on a car. it kinda makes me believe these cars are a lot cheaper than we all think they cost!

sounds great rick! Rick Im in the market for a 2008 silver z51 3lt car maybe NPP exhaust if i dont go with the new corsa Xtreme? what price do you think you could do for me on that car. IM hoping for a july delivery if not sooner.
