I don't expect pricing to change a whole lot. If the prices are anywhere near the 2007's I'm good to go. I was told they will give me 2000-2500 dollars off sticker like they did for me on my last corvette I got from them.
Had a deposit w/Tommy Jr. at Macmulkin since first week in April when I sold my '06 C6 A6.

Yeah, I think it's because most of us on the forum are performance enthusiasts. I think most your non-forum buyers go with base or F55. Kind of like how most people on this forum prefer Manuals and most outside buyers get an A6 auto.
oh also, with the orders looking like this, it should be a good chance for me to find on in stock that has the color and set up i want when i get ready to trade. should save me some bucks.
i'm going in for an 08 too, here is my order (havent ordered yet, but will in the coming week)

Prolly base suspension
Prolly comp gray dual spoke rims
Guys, i also had one quick question. If you get a paper that is signed saying you'll get it at a certain price, what if they breach the contract? what can u do then? i doubt i'd have the time to go through a lawsuit and all that. so the way i see it, their signed paper is more like a friendly gesture towards me and something they dont really haev to commit to because if they bail out on me, there isnt much i can do?

You're right. Just cause it's in writing doesn't make it iron-clad. Most dealer forms will have all kinds of disclaimers, etc.
You're best defense is to go with a dealer with a proven track record like the dealers on this forum. You can be relatively sure based on all the referrals on this forum that they will come through on their word.
