Default A6 Shifter?

Has anyone heard of an aftermarket shifter for the A6? I think a pistal grip shifter with 2 buttons for shifting so a person could select from the shifter *** instead of the paddles on the steering wheel. I have tried to use the paddles but can't get use to them. I would rather shift from the console. Paddles are rediculous, unamerican, and should be left for the foreign car makers. I like the way the A6 Shifts just not where it shifts from.

Excellent idea. I would buy one. Maybe B&M or someone will come up with one.

I concur. I would much prefer controls on the center console stick. Seems like it should be doable ...
