Clear Bras are great, but you need to make sure the person installing it is a Certified Installer for that product. I know it is true with 3M and probably others, too...if the installer is not certified [[B]B]There is NO warranty.Only a certified installer can offer you a warranty card. Make sure you know what you are getting!

No, it's not true re bugs. After waiting awhile, polish/wax the front the same as the car. Bugs will wash off, too. YOu may, however, have to give them a little extra scrubbing, just as you would on the body of the car if the wax is thinning out or the bugs have been left on a long time. There is a particular yellowish bug almost leaves a "splatter" like a moth, that is difficult even on a freshly waxed clear bra. But it does come off if you kind of soak it (leave a wet towel over it for about 5 minutes).
I have had my 3M system on my C6 for just about a year now and I can assure that it is all about the person doing the installation. I went so far as to talk to several dealers first then went into two of them to watch the installers working on other cars. I then requested a specific person. My installation was done by Road Block Protective Systems in Sterling Virginia. Christal Waddy the owner was more than super to work with. She grew up around the car business and understands the goofy minds of corvette owners.
