Yeah, we were going to go to Eagles Canyon Raceway to do the laps for charity, but I don't know how much fun that would be on a wet track...

While the rain is inconvenient, it is better than drought, which is what we had last year. I say bring it on and the more the better!

We need some here too! Not a very promising forecast:

With the fires y'all have had, I understand your response. Here in our part of TX, we are at the other end of the hose. Our problem has become one of too much rain. It has now simply become run off as the ground is saturated. Just yesterday, there were 5 deaths in the central TX area due to flash flooding.

Yeah this weather sucks. Makes me not want to go anywhere with my black car. Seems like that's all it has done this month is rain.

Yeah, its a CHARITY event, hence we pay. This one was $25 for three laps. Same price at TMS when they have their laps for charity. TMS gets 200+ cars each time, so it adds up for the charity organizers.

I feel your pain. Last night the weather forcast for Houston was virtually no chance of rain. So I went riding my motorcycle with a couple of friends. I did manage to ride almost 200 miles, but ran in and out of rain all day and got pretty damn wet. Somehow, I still had a good time
