nav system
no matter what voice command i give my nav system, it shows poi points! i now have a screen full of these darn things. how do i clear them. i tell it to delete poi and it just adds another.
i spent 1/2 hour last night trying to reprogram and it only got worse.
help please

Nav:
"Now showing whorehouse icons", or something like that.
There is a soft key to reset everything to the default positions, that includes POI off. Just remember to reset your region code and similar things.

POI off is about the only voice command that my nav will recognize properly. Of all the functions of the Nav, the one I dislike is voice command. BMW is not any better either - maybe it is my voice it doesn't like.....

It is a family joke in the Vette. I say Italian Resturants...I get "motel icons on" I say bank...it says "golf course Icons on"
It helps pass the time on a slow trip.
for the original poster.....as others have said...POI OFF ...sometimes works.
