Default what? what?

is there any way to keep those little caption ballons, that appear on the screen when you scroll over a post, on long enough to actually read!

I think the idea is to preview the post long enough for you to decide whether you want to click on it and read it . . . I didn't time it, but it was long enough to read your posting without actually opening it . . I'd guess 2-3 seconds.

It's a nice feature . . .but I doubt it's adjustable . . .you just need to polish up on your speed-reading !

Good luck-

Don't know if the browser has any effect or not - I'm using Mozilla, but the "balloons" stay open for me for around 10 seconds.

The preview stays open on my browser for 5 seconds. It is there so that you can "preview" the topic and see if you actually want to invest in reading it. It isn't intended to read the entire post. I am not of aware of any way to change the time.

Mine stays open for 5 sec too. That is long enough to get an idea if it is worth going into for me.

If you move slightly on the title, it will stay open as long as you need.
