Just curious when you see another vette coming your way do you roll your window down to wave or just wave with the window up?
Just kinda curious because I usually drive on the highway and sometimes don't have time to roll the window down and wave but I know that it is hard to see into someone else's car to see if they are waving.
If the window is down, wave out the window. If not, wave from inside.
When I'm approaching another Corvette, I'll typically flash my lights a couple of times to alert them I have spotted them. As we draw close enough for a wave, I wave.
Some wave back, some don't. It's an acquired skill that some have more difficulty mastering than others.
Yep, but I know what you mean. You're just trying to be friendly which is cool. I run into so many rude drivers, it's nice to see people trying to promote greeting each other on the roads. Seriously.

I save the wave for my motorcycle riding... a much more friendly group both sport and cruiser. With the windows up you can't see if I am waving anyway, the tint is too dark. If I am at an intersection or slow road, parking lot I'll wave, but most do not return the wave. Exact opposite with the bikes, unusual to not get a wave.....unless it is Bikeweek or Biketoberfest. You'd have to ride one handed all the time.

Yeah I agree bikers do seem to wave more and be more friendly but I don't ride anymore

To each their own but I couldn't even imagine driving around with the windows up all the time. I'm the opposite....I leave the windows down as much as possible and take the roof panel off as much as I can. Only when it gets too hot, too cold or if it's raining will I reluctantly roll 'em up.
Depends upon what kind of owner you are. If you are a gold chain type "Vette" buyer you only wave at owners equal to or higher than yourself. You would never wave down toward a C5 or C4 owner. If one of them waves your way you would just ignore them. If you are a true and loyal Corvette enthusiast you faithfully wave at every Corvette you encounter.
