telescoping steering wheel

telescoping steering wheel
sorry for the stupid question but how hard would it be to get a telescoping steering wheel put on,i dont know about everybody else thats tall, but for me i have to have the seat so far back that it is a reach to hold the steering wheel.

I haven't heard of anyone doing it but I suppose with enough money it could be done.
I definitely like the telescopic steering wheel on my 2005. When I exit the car, the steering wheel goes all the way forward and my seat goes all the way back....much easier to exit the car. After I get in, I just press a button and my steering wheel, driver's seat and mirror automagically go to my pre-set 'driving' positions. It helps.
I'm sure they'll just try to sell you a new car but I'd ask your dealership and see what they say. Good luck.
