Well... it started
After only 2200 miles on the odometer, I started hearing some strange noise coming from the rear when I back out in the morning. I'm assuming it the "rear end chatter" everyone is talking about. It only happens in the morning. I guess because the car has been sitting all night and cools off. Does the noise keep getting louder? To be honest, it doesn't really bother me that much. It's not very loud and the car runs fine. Should I get it serviced soon or is it something that I can let go for a while?

It may get a bit louder and will probably happen more often.
As far as I know there is no serious damage being done to the differential. It's more of an irritant than anything.

It really doesn't get louder, but what does happen is that the clutches will start to grab more. This causes a jerking of the car upon backing or turning. The grabbing will get worse over time and will eventually ruin the clutch packs.
