Seeing how so many GM vehicles have one burned out bulb, I turn mine off ALL the time. That sure beats having to replace them.

I don't recall seeing any GM vehicles running-around with only one DRL on....I'm sure I must have at one time or another but it's certainly not a common sight where I live.
I'll leave my DRL's on. I think it's fairly well-establised that DRL's enhance one's visibility and safety. In my mind it's sort of like those that tint their headlights or tail-lights....why on earth would you reduce the effectiveness of your headlights or tail-lights for the sake of 'appearance?'

When I first bought my C6, I thought I would turn them off.
But I rarely turn them off and consider it a great safety feature.
I have seen other black C6s' on the road and actually like the look.
It is a nice contrast against the black.

On bright days I turn them off on my C6 when I think about it.

I like them for a multitude of reasons. Safety is the most important reason, however, I like the way Corvettes appear while approaching from the front or from behind. The lights allow me to easily recognize an approaching brother or sister.
I have had my C6 for 18 months with no problem with the lights burning out. I had my C5 for 18 months without any problem. I park my Vette inside a garage.
I only wished my '96 Corvette came with DRLs. Apparently the '96s sold in Canada had DRLs.
I doubt these lights will burn out from use that much faster than intermittant use. What are your experiences with light burnout? Won't the warranty cover it anyway? If not, so what?

The car looks better with them out, but you're safer with them on. I leave them on.

With the DRLs on and the color of my car (velocity yellow), I am amazed at the frequency of times people will crowd my lane, cut me off, pull out in front me at the last moment, etc., etc., etc. Can't they see me!
