Default How much power from headers?

Im having headers installed this week, im wondering how much power i will pick up. I currently have BB bullets, Vararam, CoW tune, 4.10 gears, and a hurst shifter. Will i feel the power of the headers? Also will it make my car louder?
Thanks
Adam

You're getting a tune again after the install, right?

Headers make it sound a little different, but not necessarily louder. It's deeper with more "throat".

I just put on headers, CAI, thermostat and a tune and picked up 27 horses.

After putting on a few hundred miles now, I'd have to agree that they are louder, even on the stock exhaust. Not at idle, but when you get it on it, it rips a bit.

Here's the result of adding Kooks headers w/high flow cats, Callaway intake, 160 'stat and tune at Cartek.

I got 379 HP / 377 torque at the wheels with American Racing Headers, LPE intake & a tune on my 07 Z51 M6.

Also, the torque in the 2500-5000 rpm range is up more than the peak numbers

Didn't do a baseline, but I gather somewhere in the 345 range for both HP & torque is typical for the M6 transmission

I'd really like to say that I could feel it, but the difference between 400 HP and 428 HP isn't something my bottom can feel. I've just barely got 1000 miles on the car now so I'm too new, I think.

I dynoed 378rwhp/358rwtq SAE with Kooks, Stinger, Corsa cat-back and tune. That dyno was known for making lower torque numbers but I think the hp was right on. My 1/8th mile also improved a best of .3 and 3 mph.

I watched Ben's pulls. Great sound. WIth only 500 mi Ben, you're bearly broken in. I would expect that you'll pull another 5-10 @ 2.500 mi when she's fully broken in.

I like the sound of that, but I don't get your math. Can you explain that a bit? If it matters, mine is a manual.

Thanks.
