Yes....just in the past couple weeks I've experienced the same with my 2005. Perhaps 20% of the time (after I get in the car) I press the button and my steering-wheel moves but my seat doesn't. If I re-open the door (moving the steering-wheel forward again) and try it again it generally works fine again. Sometimes, I can just re-press the button more deliberately and it'll work.
I'm taking my car in for an alignment next week so it's on the list for the dealership to checkout. I'm hoping its only the button 'contact' wearing-out.

Same here, just started a few weeks ago. Seat won't retract all the way when the engine is shut off. Also, I tried to reset everything per the manual and it seemed to "loose it's mind" a few days later. I just gave up and grabbed a beer. I'll get to some day. LOL.
I had a complete failure of the seat memory module on my '05 several months ago. The dealer replaced it. Now I'm having the problem reported in this thread: about 25% of the time the seat doesn't go to it's correct position when I start the car. If I drive for a while, stop the car and restart it the memory works again. At first toggling between the two memory settings worked but no longer. Very annoying.
