Strange noise when backup
Here is the problem - when I backup and then start forward the brakes sounds like the calipers are stuck or something. Once I am going forward everything is OK.
Has anyone else experienced this?
If it sounds like a "grinding" noise it could be a known problem with the rear diff fluid. Based on information from the CF I took mine to the dealer and they swapped the diff fluid free of charge. Problem fixed. Here were my symptoms:
- Grinding noise from the car when backing up after a cold start
- Grinding noise when turning left after a cold start
- Noise stopped after a few hundred yards of movement
Hope this helps.
There are a lot of postings on the issue with the rear chatter noise that sounds like a grinding noise. When I first had the issue, it only made the noise backing up. As it got worse, it started making the noise going forward or backing up. Dealer took care of this issue.

I had the TSB done on mine and it fixed the problem.
