Default Ouch!

Did this last night at about 10 PM backing uphill on a very steep driveway at a friend's lake house. The driveway is long about 200 feet, narrow and spaced about 8 feet apart his fence is supported by brick pedestals about 3 to 4 feet high. Being July the 4th yesterday, I'll add that I don't drink so it wasn't alcohol related. I didn't bother to get out of the car to check the damage until about 20 minutes later at a convenienc store parking. I thought the damage was worse than what you can see in the picture. The cost to repair is $805 at my Chevy dealer. The cost wouldn't have been as much if the rear bumper fascia hadn't received a scraping of about 1 to 2 inches long. The rear fascia has to be removed. This hurt!

Leave it alone.

It makes the car look like it's going fast even when it's parked.

It is painful to the eyes! Any good shop will get it back to good as new for you though- the wait is even worse than the initial pain, ask me how I know... Good luck on the repairs.

Funny you! but that said, I had a similar thought. Only if I could have a perfect match on the right rear fender!

Default Door handle grip

I spent $100 on color matched door handle grips but now since I have this little bit of repair that includes painting, the guy at the body shop agreed to paint my black original grips Atomic Orange at no extra charge. Now, if I can sell the pair of painted grips to someone for $100 I can say that my repairs came out to $700 instead of $800. I was thinking of anything else that I can have painted Atomic Orange with any extra paint they may have left from my repairs. Any ideas out there?

I bet a few 4 letter words were spoken after this happened.
Sorry about your mishap, get it fixed as soon as possible to take the pain away. The dealer body shops do wonderful work, it will look like new afterwards.
Good luck in the future, and send the "after pics" when done.

If you're going for the all body color look, how about the spoiler?
