Had my new c6 for 2 months and it appears someone scratched my hood with a fingernail numerous times in a 1/2" by 1.5" inch area. I have about 3 coats of adams polish on it. Any suggestions on how to fix this.
Thanks in advance.

If they're just fingernail marks, then there will be almost no depth to them. A Porter Cable and some Menzerna Intense polish will get rid of them - as long as it really is a fingernail scratch.
I have not seen your damage but it sounds like a problem I have with my Hummer. I found the exact marks you describe on the top and it was from a bird pecking something to eat. He must have been scraping something off to eat with his beak.
The marks will wax out for a few days and then return. I am lucky that the marks on the Hummer are almost 7 feet off the ground and can't be seen. But I know they are there and that's enough!!
I hope your damage will come off by buffing, I have not tried that as it can't be seen by others. I know the body shops have some real good tricks nowadays so maybe they can give an easy solution.
I think you're correct mowdoc because I have already complained about the birds in the parking garage at work. I'll have to go to the dealer or a body shop and see how much it costs to fix because I don't have an orbiter. I tried Adam's swirl and haze remover, to no avail.
I purchased the Meguires Scratch X from Advance Auto Parts. My C6 Had Bird Dropping Blemishes on the Hood. Follow the instructions, I had great results.
