Man you really don't wait to the last minute for advice. When it's 100 deg. outside how can you think of winter? Good for you I don't like to procrastinate either but this takes the cake.
This was almost as depressing a post as the ones that tell my how great an 08 is compared to my 05.
I'm hoping it to be like last winter when I drove my Corvette until January.
1. Fill gas tank and add Sta-Bil (7.5 oz.); run through fuel lines.
2. Change oil and filter.
3. Park on moisture barrier
4. Inflate tires to 38 psi cold.
5. Apply sealant, wax, etc. to exterior paint.
6. Apply leather dressing to seat panel.
7. Apply vinyl dressing to interior; and to exterior black trim pieces.
8. Hook up Batter Tender. Run wire into engine compartment from underneath car and duct tape exposed wire to floor so you don't trip over it and yank it out.
Let's see now...It's about 180 degrees outside right now with 110% humidity, both A/C units are running and spinning my electric meter like a P-52 prop, and I can't even remember what it felt like to be cool outside. I'll probably prepare mine the same way I did last winter: drive it everyday beginning in late November with the top on until late February. Those 3 winter months of top-on hardship did a number on me last winter!
