My Vette was working well and later in the same day, the car would not start. I replaced the battery just to trouble shoot if not enough cranking amps, checked all fuses, inspected all connections and nothing. The car just trgiggers rapidly when button is activated, but no ignition. The vehicle only has 13,000 miles.
Has anybody experience this problem and what was the solution.
Car is being picked up and to the dealership. I would like to know before hand and to be educated once I'm there.
more info is needed such as is the car auto or stick???DBS only hits 6spds from what I hear. That is DEAD BATTERY SYNDROME,that's affected many 05's.You have clicks,so it may not be that, and it's not the starter since you have clicks,so,maybe the cellonoid is bad.Open the hood and give it a whack, sometimes that works on a cellonoid.(If it;s still located under the hood!I'm pulling my brain info on cellonoid location from the 70's and 80's! )
I had a NO FOB DETECTED message the other day when I entered the car with the fob in my left side cargo shorts pocket. I got an insane amount of relay clicking which came from the center dash speaker area (below the rearview on the dash). I got out, got back in, put the fob in the cupholder and she fired right up.
Like Jess said we need more info on your car! example auto or manual
It COULD be a safety switch.
If a manual try pumping the clutch up and down while pushing start button.
If auto try moving the stick between nutral and park while pushing start button.

Sorry should have been more specific. The car is Manual and turns out to be the Fuel Pump.
I have no idea what the problem could be but please post back on the Forum when you find out what the problem was. Good Luck.
