I used both the tape and one small trim crew for the install, take your time in putting the tape on the guard noting where it aligns to the rolled over portion on the fender where it goes into the tire well.
After thinking about this issue again the last few days, I finally decided to pull the trigger & order front & rear Z06 style gaurds from Apsis. If I'm going to mod, I am willing to spend more money on what looks best to my eyes. These are aggressive looking, but also look factory original from the pics posted here (Jersey's yellow vert). I have a VY coupe, so this gives me a pretty good idea how they will look on my ride. I told Jersey at Apsis I'd post some picks here when I receive them & get them installed. Looking at an August timeline I think.

I just heard back from the vendor and I seem to remember reading this in an earlier thread, but to answer my own question -- the Apsis splash guards are $187.50 a pair for either front or rear wheels.

I use Ed's, put them on the day I got the car, and have no damage to the paint behind my wheels after 15k.
