So, I get up early this morning to wash my car (it was left outside) to find this.......
I live in a quite gated community, but some punkass S.O.B. smashed out my window to rip off my Passport X50 8500. I guess it could of been worst. Glass was everywhere.
Can someone tell me how to remove the door panel to get the remaining glass out of the door? ........this sucks!...
Looks like this little sh** head picked up a rock from the landscape to pop the glass. I was able to remove the majority of the glass in 2 large broken sheets. The passenger seat has some minor scratches from the sheet of glass, but not torn or ripped.
I can't believe the guts this punk had to do this in my driveway! PLUS, I can't believe I didn't hear anything! Screw it, what can you do but move on. I still washed my car, missing glass and all, just had to try and make myself feel better.
Thanks Burton for the info the door panel removal. I'll get to that tomorrow.
And thanks for all the support guys, appreciate it.

I'd let the insurance cover the entire cost. The door panal is going to have to be removed to install the new windoe glass !
The moral to this story. Never leave anything of value in sight in the car.
Hide it, take it out, move it under cover, but leaving it out in plain sight is asking for trouble.
