Default pulling the trigger on an 08

Looks like I'll be pulling the trigger on an 08 Monday... Probably gonna order a Jetstream Blue 3lt package.. Not sure on what color interior though.. Also Z51 and probably chrome wheels.... No glass top this time, but maybe later.. I really wish I could see the color first, but from everything I've seen it does look ALOT Nassau Blue.....

Thoughts??

I was going to order A Jetstream Blue Vette, when I saw the first pic of one, I actually did call a dealer and order it. But then I saw a different pic, and a few more pics, and they all looked different. There was no way I was gonna spend that much money on something that I hadn't seen in person. Imagine how you are gonna feel when you go to the dealer to pick it up, and you really dont like the color in person. It is indeed a gamble.

I've seen Jetstream Blue a few times now, under all different kinds of lighting, and it does look similar to Nassau Blue, but with a bit more of a color shifting ability to it. The color really is fantastic looking, it's not as light as people think.

The one at the dealer near me has the chrome 07 style wheels on it and I don't think it looks as good with those as it would with the new 08 polished wheels. As far as interior color, I think Titanium, or Titanium/Ebony are perfect for this color. The one I've seen has ebony interior and it just looks out of place. And cashmere or red would not go well with this shade of blue at all.

Don't order JSB until you see it in person and are 100% sure that's exactly what you want. I know a couple guys who ordered it just from pics and now they regret it. Also watch the constraints. I think the chrome wheels are on constraint along with a bunch of other stuff, including my order.

Got my 3LT JSB on order with ebony/titanium int and dual Roof package. Just went with stock rims. Going to go aftermarket as soon as the wallet allows. I think it will be a kick **** combo. I feel like a 15 year old school girl waiting for prom night.

I would never order a car in a color I hadn't seen in person

I'm really not one to buy a color site unseen, but looking at JSB really reminds me of the OLD Nassau blue from the C2, albiet updated a bit. I loved that color!! Wish they have a blue interior to go with it.. The light grays will be a PIA to keep clean.. I'm trading in my Navy 99... So the interior color is really what I'm thinking hard about.. If any one has any JSB coupe pics, PLEASE send them to me at jcra@optonline.net.. All in all it'll look sweet next to my Milano Maroon 65 coupe..

The trigger HAS been pulled.. Ordered a Jetstream blue, 3LT, Auto, NPP exhaust, Z51... I actually didn't go with the Comp Gray wheels, which I was going to do. It looks to me like the standard wheels look pretty cool and If I don't like them I can just buy something else.. I also didn't go for the dual tops.. The glass, while cool looking heats the damn car up to much.. I got till 2morrow to change my mind and he said I should have by the 2nd week of sept.. Barring no issues of course..

Now I gotta figure how I'm gonna mount the front plate for NY.. I've seen the prices and to me the're just rip offs.. Way to much for $5 in plastic..

So you're saying the Z51 constraint is no longer there? Or did the dealer take your deposit and is waiting to order the car???

Congratulations on your order. Nice choices. I debated between the ebony or the ebony/titanium two-tone interior. Ended up ordering the ebony. I believe either combination would look great with the new JSBlue.

Hope all your constraints are lifted soon.
