If you use a clay bar to take off impurities, do it with a soft touch, not hard rubbing. When applying waxes and wiping off, use the microfiber towles mentioned before. Swirl marks are not fun

Do not turn off active handling and traction control until you have mastered your Vette with them on. Only then, learn how to drive with it off in a controlled environment with plenty of room.

Do not allow the dealer to wash the car. No idea where that sponge or wash mit or whatever has been. Take it in clean, leave a note with advisor not to wash and leave a note inside car that says " DO NOT WASH CAR". my opinion.
