The biggest sleeper out there is a c6 a6 with a pro charger / no other mods , putting out 617 hp at the crank for a every day driver for under $6500. Who can stay with that?
I completely agree - if I drove an A6 regardless of the horsepower, I'd fall asleep at the wheel too. Big Sleeper.
Haha!
That is interesting about the ProCharger. I dunno how they are in the Vette world, but in the Mustang world, I read a lot of people having problems with oil leaks and reliability issues. Same with Vortech (aka Vorturd as some non-fans refer to it). Also, the Mustangs internals are weeeaaaaaak. 600+ hp scares me because I've been conditioned so.
Nothing wrong with that but I still prefer a naturally aspirated, built motor. I'm not necessarily looking for the ultimate sleeper...which is pretty obvious every time I start the car.

My '08 Z is of course MN6, but my MODDED 2006 C6 that I sold last year was an A6 and it could beat most MN6 C6's including yours.
If you feel you need to put down A6's or be doing something while driving like shifting through gears to make you feel like more of a man, then you go ahead pal, enjoy yourself, which I'm sure you do plenty and often.....BY YOURSELF.

Maybe a sleeper among other corvettes, but no corvette would ever be a sleeper on the road.
A sleeper is a car that looks slow, does the Corvette look slow to you? A sleeper is a SRT8 with all its badges removed so it looks like a regular 4 door sedan, or perhaps even my GTO with its silly notrills/spoiler deleted and exhaust tips tucked under its butt so they don't show, or maybe even a V6 mustang that had a V8 transplant and nothing else done to it... but a Corvette??? no no no, a Corvette will never be a sleeper...
