looks like he picked up some water on the back wheels....regardless, not a good road to be driving that....2 narrow lanes and low visibility of what's up ahead....

I've seen this video many times and he did run through some water on the road...look at the 18 sec spot.

Remember when Group "B" cars were outlawed in the 1980's after that car went off road into the crowd? I think 30 killed? I got to ride in one of those cars. 2000 LBS and 600+ horsepower 4X4. I think there are still my fingernail marks in the roll cage. Totally violent fast.

He hit the left side of his car on the left side of the road. No spin, just like he didn't turn right as the road wound that way. Certainly not going real fast. Maybe hit some sand and fishtailed to the left--terminal oversteer. Our AH would have caught it for sure.
