Well,
The time has come for me to go to Iraq again for 15-18 months. I am thinking about what I should do about the Vette.

Do you have a relative with a spot in a garage that you can entrust the car too? That would be the first place I would look.

If not, I would find a well maintained, well secured storage facility to park it in while you're gone.

My boy just left for Iraq last month for his third tour; or is it the forth.
I would store it for you like I am storing his but, I am all the way up here in dairy land. Stay safe and see ya on your return.

Coming out of Fort Cambell, you just might be replacing my friend who's already there. KYARNG? He's down to 30+/- days left...

Relatives are always a good source of garage space.

when i went to VN long ago I left my vette in my parents barn. My mom and dad drove it ever month. I think they had a great time with it. When I came back, my dad picked me up at the airport with it. God bless you; you are what makes this country great. Stay safe.

First off - thanks for your service and be safe

As far as the car, I been away for 18 months now (not Iraq this time, that was in 90-91 ) and this is what I did:

1) find a garage.
2) spend the money on the good Battery Tender.
3) buy a good supply of the gas treatment stuff
4) find realiable person

Have the person drive it every month or so, making sure to add new gas and new gas stabilizer. Have em change the oil at least once in the middle.
