rubbing my forehead on this one, how was it a scam? order a car, leave a deposit. sounds pretty straight-forward to me......as far as the credit card, did you know technically its ILLEGAL to make a deposit on a car, buy a car with a credit card? maybe they didnt want to pay the fee associated with it? sounds like this dealer was on the "up and up" to me. pretty car ive wondered about that combo.
Ordered a car from a forum vendor. 1500 miles away, I never laid eyes on him or set foot on his lot. Phone and email only. He said he wanted a grand down. Hey, if I'm serious about taking delivery and I trust them, why not. I sell swimming pools. We take credit cards for the progress payments. Owner cringes when he pays 1.75% to process the card. Since our 'average' ticket is $38K, the credit card fees mount pretty quickly. Personally, I think far too much is made of the distance people insist on keeping from car dealers. And the deprecating comments about salesmen. When is the last time you bought a car without using one? Or hired a broker to be the middle man. Who is a car salesman you've preordained as trustworthy. Right or wrong. I go in the front door confident, treat all with respect, and come out a winner. If you are stand up and can figure out that they are too, I'm in like Flynn.
JSvet08... please more pics??? or no? Thats the combo I think I am going to order.
I'll post more of what the saleman sent me. I have to reduce 'em first.

They wanted MSRP. I found a better deal for less than their 1LT deal and went with it, 2LT and NPP added!
