Excellent write-up for those considering the installation.

Now, go slap some LT's in front of those Borlas to really wake the car up.

I couldn't get the over axle pipes to go on while attached to the main rear assembly. I had to get the rear assembly on first also, then fit the over axle pipes to the rear assembly. I used my floor jack to help hold the rear assembly up while getting the over axle pipes attached.

That was a great description, just like I remember it from last summer.

I remember reading that part in the instructions and after getting under the car I couldn't imagine putting in the new unit with all the pipes assembled - it just too cumbersome. It was a lot easier to handle to just put the muffler in, then the pipes, then the midpipe.

Like others have pointed out nice write up.....where the hell were you 2yrs ago I did the install my self as well the sway bar was a pain in the **** I didnt have the backend on ramps, I had it jacked up and let me tell ya when pulling the the exhaust down(borla stingers) things got a little hairey, next time I put an exhaust on a vette it will be on ramps, like you said the swaybar helped with the install for the mufflers, next time my course of action will be ramps, remove swaybar, lube the rubber hangers(does make a differnce)then reinstall the swaybar then put mufflers over the axel.it was all worth it to me after hearing the sweet start up of the stingers,if I could do it all over again I wouldnt have used the borla mid pipe, only because later if I want to add any brand of longtube headers you cant use the borla mid pipe therefore you will have no cats the only header manufacture I found that will bolt directly to the mid pipe is b&b again you will have no cats, not a big deal if where you live doesnt have emmision checks, dont mean to ramble on just trying to give a heads up for the next guy...AGAIN GREAT WRITE UP
