Honestly - if they steal your car, do you want it back? I sure as hell don't. This is why I pay insurance. Plus lojack is losing more and more interest in the market.

My standard thought is...

If it's stolen I either want it back ASAP or make it go away forever! The only other thing that concerns me, is all states require us to have our registration and insurance in the car...both of which contain names, adresses, phone numbers, and Missouri used to have (believe it or not) your SS # on the registration. Identity theft being the problem it is, I want it back ASAP and the offender arrested so I can secure more than my physical possession.

I had Lojack installed when I purchased my C6 in April 2006 and have had no problems with battery drain. I left it un-driven for a 15 day period while on vacation and it started right up when I asked it to when we got back.

I had LoJack on my old C5 and it was a good peace of mind having it. I also saw the posts about it draining the battery and it kinda scared me, i started looking around and the only other thing i would think about installing is another type of anti-theft device by Ravelco. I posted on CF asking about it but nobody really had one installed on their Vette...so I'm hoping to order my C6 here in about two months and will be looking at it...I can see where people say they dont want it if its stolen but man...i think i would want it back no matter what...and the Ravelco is supposed to KEEP them from stealing it, the only way to steal one 'from what they say' is to flatbed it...so i dont know, that could be an option for you...good luck with whatever you choose!

I still like LoJack..and with their early warning system, makes it even more stout...but that doesn't really do you any good if you aren't in their coverage area huh...LATERS!

Perhaps not but I do like the idea of busting the d-head who messed with my car.
