Castrol 0w-30 imported from Germany. Oil analysis shows German Castrol to be way better than Mobil1. Wear on the internals is a lot less.
That's odd despite "less wear", it seems to cause the MPG and Max HP to drop on the vette. There's been 2 seperate post confirming this by different people. And yes they used Castrol and dyno'd it on similar days, and ran 3 full tanks of gas to obtain a good average.

It probably was not the Castrol imported from Germany. The German Castrol can be VERY hard to find.

...you'll find tons of used oil analysis reports from many different types of vehicles, and there are a number of guys who show their comparison of German Castrol 0w30 to other popular oils, including Mobil 1. It's important to note that the nickname of German Castrol 0w30 is GC 0w30, so you will sometimes find that as the name in the topic title.
