Came up on a yellow light last night and for some reason had a brain fart and blew the light knowing there was a cop right behind me, gave him all my info and he came back with a warning ticket and proceeded to tell me what a nice car I had and asked a few questions. My son said it was a good thing he wasn't a Ford fan or I probably would have gotten a ticket WHEW!
On my way back from the Museum delivery a couple of months ago, a state trooper in Arkansas pulled me over on a back road for 70 in a 55 (I honestly did not know the limit was only 55). They guy could not have been any nicer - complimented my car a couple of times. He told me he "did not want to ruin my trip home" and only gave me a warning.

Friends don't let friends.............drive Fords!
You blew the light knowing a cop was behind you....you do like living life on the edge. I'm glad it ended well.
Me too, did the same thing about a month ago and got my first ticket in over 30 years. I didn't see him but my wife did, but didn't say anything until after. never would have bothered me in my pickup.
I got pulled over a week after I got my 'vette. (I was being an idiot and clearly deserved a ticket.) I aplogized and explained that I was being an idiot and showing off for my brother-in-law in my new car. I think appreciated the honesty and gave me a written warning.
That was the ONLY time I was ever stopped in that car. (NOT the only time I DESERVED to be stopped.)
