I'm no drag racer but I enjoy running a road course. For normal street driving I'd suggest leaving both TC and AH on....this is obviously the safest way to go.

When I go WOT I always shut TC off. My car puts down a lot of power and I don't want it mitigated by computer interference. I can feather the throttle as needed.

On a road course I run in competition mode to allow greater tolerances for sliding the car but still affording some degree of AH protection.

I never thought the stock C6 had any problem hooking-up but at the drag strip I would shutoff TC but initially leave AH on (especially if it's a tight course or until you get used to conditions). Once you're comfortable I would likely then go to Comp mode.

Do a forum search...there should be tons of information about this subject. I also suggest you search out posts by Ranger....he truly is the resident expert of drag racing in the C6. I recently learned he has his own web site as well....www.rangeracceleration.com (I think).

IMHO

For any track type event CM is probably your best bet.

Drag racing: some prefer TC on, others prefer it off

Road Course: not much wheelspin on a roadcourse to worry about either way, if you choose everything off that will include TC

Normal driving: everything on

For normal driving leave everything on, AH and TC have saved my butt in the rain several times.
