I'm still waffling on when I'll buy my C6, but when I do, I'll replace the start button with one of those big honkin' Staples "Easy" buttons.

Will his tortured mind give in to it's uncontrollable desires?
Can he withstand the temptation to push the button, that even now, beckons him ever closer?
The beautiful shiny button.
The jolly candy-like button.
Will he hold out, folks?
Can he hold out?

Sorry I like the black button with the green halo in our C6 MUCH BETTER than that FUGLY RED "START ENGINE" button.... then again that is just MHO.....

The only way I'd ever mod the start button is if it were something like this:

I had considered a crank start such as that on the Model T Ford, but my wife objected.

If you're going retro, at least stay with the modern technology and go with the original big steel button on the floorboard.

I don't see what is better about the honda button. Is it the color red or the shiny ring around it? What if it had fur trim or may be sparkles? Oh, oh, wait, there should be blue neon ring around it maybe.

My C6 already came with a red button. Part of option J66 -Auxiliary Assist, JATO. A second red button would constitute a fashion faux pas.

Probably a Honda S2000 owner somewhere trying to figure out how to install the keyless start button from a C6.

Nah,

Now this is a mod..if you wanted a classy key button.

I am sure that shifter and Keyless button runs in the 1000s of dollars knowing everything else on that car is.

Of all the mods I could possibly come up with...this one would be about the dumbest.

Have you never seen the modifications those people make, ours just cost a little less because they are american cars. But i think i like your train of thought..

BTW i just found some fuel rail covers from a 1978 Suburban I am installing tomorrow....oh dont forget the great door handles off the 1986 caprice classic wagon that are going on in place of the touchpads.
