I asked this question twice but noone knew anything about it. I was looking for 12k bulbs for the headlights. I want to light up the road purple at night. Anyway, I found out that they are H11 bulbs and can get them for about 400 bucks.
I believe you need HID D1S bulbs for corvette headlight. I'm gonna do this when my car gets here. Anyone know how to change the light bulb on c6?
Heres the look on my BMW, they look nice, really stand out at night. http://s212.photobucket.com/albums/c...nt=12000k3.jpg

First, it's "illegal", and will give cops another reason to pull you over. Second, the intensity of the light on the road is significantly lower and this will lower visibility. Third, they will put a huge amount of strain on your eyes while driving at night.
If you're dead set on getting them, you will need a pair of D1S HID bulbs rated at 12000K. H11 bulbs are halogen and NOT what you need.
Thx for the feedback. I was told its the same lights that lambos and other exotic cars have. However, my friend had them on his maxima and eclipse and I thought it made visibility much higher. And neither him or anyone else has been pulled over. I've only seen one other vette in the San Antonio area that had them on. To each its own!
1. Stock head and fog lamps on the vette
2. Stock headlamps with 6000k fogs on the vette
3. 6000k fogs and 8000k headlamps on the vette
4. Truck has 12000k headlamps and 12000k fogs
5. Golf cart has 10000k
