My C6 does not have the partition. Is the partition for power tops only? Mine is manual.
Can someone post a pic of the lower installation.
I purchased one, but the upper holes do not line up, and I am not sure how it connects on the lower front of the trunk.

When you're putting the top down you will be able to feel if it's hitting anything.
With a power top you could do damage to either the top or the obstruction, so you have a partition to keep both things 'safe'.

With a power top,it will NOT go down unless the partition is up and latched.
