Since my c6 is a DD I drive it in the rain. I noticed today that on the intermittent setting on high, when I reached 50 miles an hour the delay between wiper cycles was very short like a fraction of a second and below 50 it seemed like it was about 3 seconds. The manual does not mention anything about the wipers being speed sensitive. Has anyone else noticed this or is this a problem.
GM has been doing this for a while now. When the wipers are on intermittent's highest level they are speed sensitive. It depends on the car as to when they increase speed, Vettes are about 50mph, my finacee's Malibu SS is at 40mph.
I'll test mine if we ever get more rain, but I don't think they're speed sensitive. But I could be wrong. Hopefully, others here either know or can test it and report back.
