A little much if you ask me.I can't remember what I paid when mine caught a nail and I didn't know about the tire warranty that would've replaced it for free, but I think it was like 20 bucks maybe.Hell,it's just a patch.
Discount Tire charges me $40 every time they do a repair ( I have had several) but if you turn in the receipts at your next tires purchase they will discount the amount from your total.
Same situation, nail in the tire. I was charged $60.00 plus tax at the local Goodyear shop. Two weeks later it started to leak again. Just decided to grab a set of BFGs.
I don't know what it is with Goodyear but they seem to have third rate service tech's and over charge like no other tire company I've ever done business with in dealing with tires.
I just had one repaired last week at the local Goodyear dealer and was charged $28 and change. I was concerned about damage to my chrome rim, but none was noted. They use a tire changer that does not touch the rim with anything metal. Tire was unmounted, patched, remounted and balanced.

OK fellas.
We don't take our Goodyear tires to Goodyear for repairs, Man Law! LOL When I wanted to swap my wheels from stock to after market(same tires, t.p.s.'), Goodyear's quote was double that of Discount Tire! Guess where I had them done?

Where I live, Goodyear is the only one that will repair a runflat. Unfortunately I was beyond the warranty period. Did get one fixed on warranty, though. Took a bit of "educating" the GY dealer, however.
