Default red daytime running lights

anyone know where to get red daytime running headlights? I do not know if they even exist but just asking just incase. Maybe I could just change the bulb in the headlight to red.

Most autoparts stores should carry them. I believe the DRLs bulb matches up with several tailight bulbs of other make/models of vehicles. Let me worn you in advance though before you go out and spend the money. Red DRLs are most likely going to be illegal.

You had better check with your local LEO. Many states ban red and/or blue lights in the front. Then you will have to check all the states you plan on traveling through for their rules.

All states: Nothing other than white or amber can be visible from the front of a moving vehicle.

Yup, that's the law, doesn't mean you can't do it though

I think Red would be the worst possible color you could put in the front of your car. Let's face it, when you're driving and you see red lights it's usually the rear of a car.

Very bad idea. Not only could the front of your car be mistaken for the rear (from a distance), when people see red lights in the rearview mirror they think "emergency vehicle". Don't do it.

And unlike a missing front plate, you can bet no LEO would just let red lights on the front of your car slide by. Ticket time!

I guess it was a bad idea...red lights would look cool though on a black coupe with red calipers.

Im pretty sure here in KY (not saying much) it is ok to have them as running lights, but since they double as our turn signals, that means they blink. Everyone ive ever known of gettin a ticket from it is because they flash.
