Default Too Plain?

Washing my car today I noticed one thing: My car is damn sexy. Although...it is a very sleek and clean looking car it almost looks too plain. Anyone have any simple clean and classic looking additions they made particularly to the front end. I'm considering maybe putting 30% tint on the headlights to make it a lil smoked but not enough to decrease the light output. I've also considered the stripes that go on the sides of the raised edges of the hood. But simply put it just looks a little too plain.

On another not I have the chrome rims and have also thought about powder coating them black would I encounter any problems with putting the powdercoat over this finish?

So what can I do to kick up the appearance a lil bit? While keeping it as cheap but not looking as cheap as possible.

widebody is a great addition but not the cheapest

Don't do the tint on the headlights. Someone else did that a few weeks back and the headlights melted the tint to the lens and they were ruined...and quite expensive.

Thanks for the heads up...yep, I'd love to do a widebody but yeah that isn't exactly the cheapest. Anyone have anything to offer as far as stripes or powdercoating my rims etc.

what color is your C6? that would make a big difference (to me anyway) on the stripes, some colors work better than others

I think the front of the C6 looks great. GM did an outstanding job and I have no plans to change it.

Do whatever makes you feel good (why am I getting visions of the cell phone commercial and the guy with the tattooed tiger stripes - "Sorry, Roger, you tiger now")?

I'm kind of torn between personalizing my C6, because there are so many of them on the road, or just leaving it original and pure (which, over time often turns out the best way to go).

Just don't put any chrome on it.

If you knew me you would know I'm the last person to "rice" out my vehicle but I'm just looking for a little something else to kinda make it more noticeable and make it mine. Also I have a silver coupe with 15% tint all the way around with the painted top. Also I'm pretty much antichrome but need something that doesn't look cheap/cheesy to enhance the already amazing appearance.

I also just though about replacing the orange turn signal bulbs to the chrome or blue so it doesnt look so generic from the front with the orange in the headlights.

Forgot to mention that for the most part I'm talking about the front end...I just think it could look better. If there are any options for a chin spoiler what are your opinions on one?

I too did the silver bulb replacement, only thing is it doesnt look at bit different when the DRL's are on, at least with the blue it looks better both ways, and just for clarification they dont light up blue they light up white. im going to change them someitme, but it was a B**** changing them for i dont have a lift at my house and thought changing a bulb would be pretty simple...i was wrong

Yep, I know they still look yellow when they're on...which is ok with me but I just don't like how they look yellow when they're off. I have seen some that are white when they're on which would be cool but haven't seen them lately...any ideas?

I like Gillvette's spoiler. Don't laugh, but I made one from cardboard before I bought one and I could not go up my driveway....

OH, leave the license plate off.

Tint makes a huge difference in the way the car looks. My car is black. I got the windows limo tinted and the car looks badass. I then added a set of black tail light covers from GS Creations......Looks even better. The car is all black new except for the chromies
