here's a low cost ($30) add from RPI designs:

and a really nice hood from LG Motorsports (not so cheap)

I'm guessing you'll find what you want somewhere in between.

Depending on taste, replacing the headlights with those for a black car looks cool. Keep the silver ones and you can always go right back to stock.

Here's what I'm thinking:
  • Blue tint turn signal bulbs that light up white
  • Grille (not sure which one though anyone have some examples or what do you think would look the best on silver?)
  • Possibly a chin spoiler (not sure which one yet)
  • Painting my rims black (if thats ok with the chrome rims?)
  • I would like to see some hood stripes but I don't think I can get them without making it look bad.

Thats what I'm thinking for now I think it will make it more personalized with out making it more personalized.

I don't know about Fl, but up here, a turn signal that lights up a color other than amber is illegal. Sylvania makes a bulb that looks clear when off and lights up amber. I have them in my Pickup.

Why give the LEO's an excuse to pull you over.

How about race mesh grills in front intake and side brake vents. Black looks great on silver

Might be but I'm not too worried about it...I'm sure more people have illegal exhausts than illegal turn signal bulbs.

I've also considered the stripes that go on the sides of the raised edges of the hood. But simply put it just looks a little too plain.

On another not I have the chrome rims and have also thought about powder coating them black would I encounter any problems with putting the powdercoat over this finish?

So what can I do to kick up the appearance a lil bit? While keeping it as cheap but not looking as cheap as possible.

I have news for you....you can't tint your headlights without decreasing light output and making your car less visible to others. IMO tinting headlights or tail-lights isn't the smartest thing to do.

To each their own but in regards to Z06 body panels...irrespective of price there's truly no need to dress-up your C6 to look like something it isn't. Certainly the Z06 is a fine looking car but be secure in the fact that the C6 is a beautifully designed and styled car as well.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder...there's nothing wrong with wanting to 'personalize' your C6 with superfluous add-on's. Consider, however, the "plain" features of the C6 is precisely what gives the car its' classic lines and beauty. Food for thought...sometimes less is more. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Didn't think I would like them at first but since I've put them on I've been getting a lot of positive comments on GS hash marks.

Don't do the tint on the headlights. Someone else did that a few weeks back and the headlights melted the tint to the lens and they were ruined...and quite expensive.
Giver her a little bling, like a pretty girl in jewels. Wide Body? = FAKE / POSER.
